Joey Severino's Website Joey is a good friend of mine. He's a math genius, and he's made a great website. If you're an anime fan of any kind, he's definitely worth getting to know.
Julian Hooker's Website
Julian is another good friend of mine. He currently works as a programmer for Texas Tech in
Lubbock, TX. He's into a variety of gaming and stuff.
8-Bit Theater
Brian takes the graphics from the original NES version of Final Fantasy (8-bit graphics,
hence the name) and has redone the storyline. Well, the plot is the same as the game,
but the character interaction is all his own creation. It's a riot. I recommend starting
at the beginning of the archives in order to really "get" this strip. Updated 2-4 times a week.
Strong Bad Emails
This is part of the quite famous Homestar Runner Website. The link is straight to the
master of evil himself, Strong Bad's Emails. Updated once every 1-2 weeks.
Penny Arcade
I hope I don't need to say more. This comic rocks. It's easily my favorite to read, both
the rants on the index page and the comics themselves. Usually you have to read the rant to
really understand what the comic is about, but the quality of humor here is Top Notch. I
recommend this comic to anyone with a sense of aggressive humor! Updated 2-3 times a week.
PVP Online
PVP has the best storyline, ever. It has continuity for actual story-lines, humor that
will leave you in tears, and references to current gaming / culture trends. For anyone who
ever thought they were a nerd, this is a MUST. Updated Daily.
Real Life Comics
One of the better computer-drawn comics available. His site is slow (at the time of this
writing, he's raising funds for new servers, so it might speed up). The quality is not slow.
He usually updates daily.
Something Positive
If you have sensitive eyes or ears, don't go here. This website is vile, profane, and
frequently violent. It has adult themes, language, situations, and some seriously sick,
suggestive content. It *is* hilarious, and it's one of the few comics that my wife and I both
read. It's updated daily, for the most part. I recommend starting at the very beginning of
the archives, and working your way forward.
User Friendly
Having worked at an ISP for a while (T3 Solutions)
I find this comic close to my own experiences. If you know a lot about programming, networking,
and business in general, this comic will appeal to the geek in you. The themes are almost
all technology related, so if you're not a gadget freak, this comic isn't for you. This comic
is always updated daily, even on holidays.
Disciples of the Light Forums
These are the forums for the World of Warcraft guild that I'm in, Disciples of the Light. Don't expect anything
grandiose there - it's just 5 of us, really, who even post on the forums (and the only members are those same 5 people!).
New! Graffe's Wizard Compendium
For any online game, this collection of forums will answer your wizardly questions - EverQuest, EQII, and (most importantly)
World of Warcraft. They carry a lot of "other" classes, as well - they have forums for every topic, as well as an extensive
Off-Topic (O.T.) area. Useful information on AoE usage, twinking patterns, and how to bake brownies while you wait for a patch
on Tuesday morning.
